Hunting has been one of the most favorite pastime in the olden days. It being the hobby of the elites was also considered as a status symbol. Even today, many people around the world are fond of this activity, and spend a lot of time, money and resources for fulfillment of their passion. Nevertheless, this activity as exciting and fabulous it looks, is at the same time is extremely as dangerous as you can think of. One should try to be very vigilant while on a hunting trip. Some suggestions are given below as to avoid any possible discomfort or harm to your life while hunting.

First of all, keep in mind that you are not going to disturb the environment. Try to be as nature friendly as you can. Take it as a house where you are to stay for a night as a guest and leave the next morning. Don’t cut the bushes if not necessarily. If you had lightened the camp fire, then make sure that you had put it out before leaving. Otherwise it could re-lighten again and set the near by trees on fire.

Apart from ecological tips, the most important aspect in hunting is the handling of the gun. Always keep in mind that never point the gun’s muzzle towards your companion. It should always be towards the sky or the floor. Never place your finger on the trigger unless you are ready to shoot. It’s better to fix a sling with your gun, in order to ensure safety and comfort while moving around. If you are out hunting with your companions, then predefine a hunting zone for everyone. After that everyone must stick and shoot from within his particular zone.

Suppose you have to stay at the hunting site for a night, then some special care should be taken. You should be well aware about the weather forecast. Keep your clothes accordingly. Shake well your clothes, shoes and bedding before using it, as snakes or Scorpio’s or spiders might have slipped into them. Beware of your surroundings as big dangerous animals may attack if you don’t take the proper precautionary measures. In short, your hunting trip can be exciting and full of fun, if you handle it carefully and consider your self as a guest in the forest, which is the home of animals.
